Bleurgghh!

I’m trying to fix a small bolt to the door of the canary-coloured caravan (here-on-after referred to as the C3) and I just can’t do it! How can a fiddling little thing like this completely vanquish me? It only cost a couple of ££. All it needs is 6 screws screwing in – so far I have managed to screw in 2 – halfway… I’m now having a cup of tea and moaning at the computer (OV is busy!)
I went to find a screwdriver – huh – where was the one with the right size end? And it had to be Phillips too. Then I just couldn’t get the thing to go in, so I went off to find the electric screwdriver – working on the theory that I’d be more likely to find the right size ‘bit’ and that the power tool would be stronger than me (the board door is VERY hard). The power tool is ‘wireless’ and the battery was flat. The place where you store the recharger was empty. I went to OV. He poked around in a drawer full of odd bits and pieces and drew out a plug which looked possible. I set the thing to charge. Two hours later I tested it. IT WORKED! I took the tool out to the C3 and tried it on the offending screws. It tried to work – it truly did! It huffed and it puffed and it…. died. I now have 2 scews 2/3 of the way in and 4 lying on the table.
Perhaps after a cup of tea…….
