Last day of Arts Weeks – and the sun may shine!

Saturday 5th October will be the last day of Somerset Arts weeks AND the last day of Honey Pot Books’ extended opening hours … after which we will be returning to our pattern of welcoming visitors 10 – 12 on Saturday mornings. Books have been flying off the shelves – although it was only the bravest who risked a soaking as the rain poured down on Thursday this week.IMG_0481
With all the fiction now in alphabetical order, things have never been so neat!IMG_0475
Sadly, the paintings will be trotting home to their owners after the weekend – having been much appreciated by all who visited us.
So, everything will be back to normal – and we may even manage to fit a car into the garage before the first frosts.

About apthomas

I love books, reading, writing, baking, chocolate, painting, sewing, people and fairtrade - not necessarily in that order. I am a lazy gardener - who loves the garden, and a lazy housewife who likes the place to be warm and welcoming. I live in beautiful Somerset. I am enslaved by Sherpa-the-cat. Saturday mornings find me 'playing shop' in the Honey Pot - a second hand bookshop, run from my garage, where along with the books you'll find fun, friendship and refreshments - all in a good cause.
