In the eye of the beholder

So, last post captured the odd, the droll and the bizarre – now it’s the turn of the artistic, beautiful and memorable:IMG_0141IMG_0354IMG_0427IMG_0423
A nautical connection for the first 4 pictures. Then on into the garden:IMG_0105IMG_0057
Pictures which, for me, capture some wonderful moments – from the gasp of amazement to the sigh of contentment. Ahhhhhhhh.
Now, out with the paints and brushes in an attempt to recapture the delights of all that beauty.

About apthomas

I love books, reading, writing, baking, chocolate, painting, sewing, people and fairtrade - not necessarily in that order. I am a lazy gardener - who loves the garden, and a lazy housewife who likes the place to be warm and welcoming. I live in beautiful Somerset. I am enslaved by Sherpa-the-cat. Saturday mornings find me 'playing shop' in the Honey Pot - a second hand bookshop, run from my garage, where along with the books you'll find fun, friendship and refreshments - all in a good cause.
