‘A door, as if from the world of men’

Well, I promised some more doorways, so here they are.
Go through them in your imagination – where will you find yourself?

More when I can find them!

About apthomas

I love books, reading, writing, baking, chocolate, painting, sewing, people and fairtrade - not necessarily in that order. I am a lazy gardener - who loves the garden, and a lazy housewife who likes the place to be warm and welcoming. I live in beautiful Somerset - but have had to leave the countryside at a little distance, having moved into town.

  1. I like how these doors frame the view beyond them. The 2004 one is my favorite.

Thanks Eagle-Eyed Editor. Actually, you were misled – it was taken in 2011 but the camera flipped back to 2004! You will find that view if ever you are in Berwick-upon-Tweed, down by the old wharf.

I like the barn doorway with its mix of materials ancient and modern – stone “boots” for a cob wall with a corrugated iron roof and plastic guttering.

  4. Susan in TX says:

Ah, the bottom left looks like a little horse-drawn cart should be rolling through it. I love these pictures!
