caravan update – stardate 200011

Hey – it’s nearly finished! The wonderful Ian came along and hung the doors on it on Tuesday (or was it Wednesday?) Anyway, I have since been painting away between showers and the decorative wooden strips are looking great. OV constructed a slightly safer approach to it – cunning use of a spade and placing of a couple of paving stones. We even managed a coffee break in there yesterday. So, once the wheels are on and the ‘garden’ tidied up you might see an exterior shot…. the interior will take a little longer and the Grand Unveiling is likely to be a few weeks yet.
It’s always good to have something to look forward to isn’t it? Like er the British summer and er Christmas!

About apthomas

I love books, reading, writing, baking, chocolate, painting, sewing, people and fairtrade - not necessarily in that order. I am a lazy gardener - who loves the garden, and a lazy housewife who likes the place to be warm and welcoming. I live in beautiful Somerset - but have had to leave the countryside at a little distance, having moved into town.
