Distractions

I tidied my tbr pile on Sunday afternoon. I removed at least 15 books which should have gone elsewhere some time ago. Then today I added about twelve to the pile – in fact I had to create a new pile next to the teetering one.
So, what am I reading? My fifth Robert Goddard mystery. OK, so I’m in a rut – but it is such a fun rut and I intend to stay there until I run out of books or the sun comes out and I can continue creative work on the caravan (no, you didn’t get the picture because the sun failed to shine and the doors were not hung.)
I did however, take this picture for you today – just to show that I haven’t been idle:

About apthomas

I love books, reading, writing, baking, chocolate, painting, sewing, people and fairtrade - not necessarily in that order. I am a lazy gardener - who loves the garden, and a lazy housewife who likes the place to be warm and welcoming. I live in beautiful Somerset. I am enslaved by Sherpa-the-cat. Saturday mornings find me 'playing shop' in the Honey Pot - a second hand bookshop, run from my garage, where along with the books you'll find fun, friendship and refreshments - all in a good cause.

Beautiful flowers! – and I love the windows behind them. I don’t think I’ve ever read a Robert Goddard mystery, so you’ve got my curiosity up. I’ll have to add him to my library list. I’d send you some of our sunshine if I could figure out how. šŸ™‚
