Caravan update 4+

I have not been idle – promise. Still busy with the book (going on apace) and one or two other busy things. As the rain pours down and the gale seizes the tarpaulin and tosses garden shrubs first this way then that, I keep popping my head out of the window to check the caravan is still there! The aperture for the front door is still that – an aperture, with a board laening against the inside – hopefully keeping the rain out. The tarpaulin is designed to protect the newly-painted sides from the worst of the rain…. but it may not be there by the end of the day!
Anyway – here’s a picture or two to keep you going.

preparing the door and the decorative strips

I’m off to prepare lunch!

About apthomas

I love books, reading, writing, baking, chocolate, painting, sewing, people and fairtrade - not necessarily in that order. I am a lazy gardener - who loves the garden, and a lazy housewife who likes the place to be warm and welcoming. I live in beautiful Somerset. I am enslaved by Sherpa-the-cat. Saturday mornings find me 'playing shop' in the Honey Pot - a second hand bookshop, run from my garage, where along with the books you'll find fun, friendship and refreshments - all in a good cause.
