Wish you were here?

I just had to share this image of our wisteria – only wish I could send you all some of its heady perfume!

About apthomas

I love books, reading, writing, baking, chocolate, painting, sewing, people and fairtrade - not necessarily in that order. I am a lazy gardener - who loves the garden, and a lazy housewife who likes the place to be warm and welcoming. I live in beautiful Somerset. I am enslaved by Sherpa-the-cat. Saturday mornings find me 'playing shop' in the Honey Pot - a second hand bookshop, run from my garage, where along with the books you'll find fun, friendship and refreshments - all in a good cause.

Absolutely stunning, Anne! It is a crisp day, with sun, in Waterloo ON…and only snowdrops showing!

It’s beautiful! When I was little we always had our Easter picture made in front of my grandmother’s wisteria in her front yard. In my favorite pic, I was 4 – Easter bonnet in place, glove on one hand, cast on the other arm with the glove carefully stretched over the cast. 🙂 Oh, and of course, very lacy “panty hose.” What memories your gorgeous picture brought back for me! Thank you for sharing it with us.

Beautiful! My boss brought in a clipping a couple of weeks ago–swoon! That aroma is amazing!
